By accessing or using StatusCat ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
StatusCat provides uptime monitoring, status pages, and alerting services for websites, APIs, and servers. We monitor your endpoints at regular intervals and notify you when issues are detected.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable laws; (b) monitor endpoints you do not own or have authorization to monitor; (c) attempt to overwhelm or attack third-party services through monitoring; (d) resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our monitoring infrastructure. Scheduled maintenance windows are excluded from uptime calculations. Service credits may be issued for extended outages affecting paid accounts.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect monitoring data, account information, and usage analytics as described therein.
StatusCat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed alerts, false positives, or downtime of the monitoring service itself.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
